Fun times. I'm narrating a sample for a publisher about a Russian political prisoner and really trying to go for it with a Russian accent. It's actually passable.
However, there's a slight mic pop in one spot, right dead-center in the word "bleakness."
These mic pops can sometimes be tough to pinpoint and eliminate. It requires one to delete a candidate pop blob in spectral analysis, and, if one misses it, to undo and try a different blob. If you don't get it quickly, you can hear the same word so many times it drives you crazy.
In this case, I'm hearing the word "bleakness" with a "Russian accent" over and over and over again. It's a gray, cold day outside, and my little monastic studio is cold and smells like leather and mice.
"Bleakness...Bleakness...Bleakness..."
Deep groan. Lol.
